How to make a claim

If you need to make a claim on your policy then you need to contact the underwriters ERS direct on the 24hr dedicated claims response number below:

Phone the appropriate number above immediately.In the event of an accident:

Give the Third Party Accident Card (found at the back of your Policy booklet) to the other driver making sure you write your contact details on it.
Take photographs of damage to all vehicles and the scene of the accident, if safe to do so.
Note the number of occupants in the other vehicle(s).
Note the number and details of witnesses.

What levels of driving cover can I have?

Driving cover can be restricted to the insured only, named drivers or any driver 25yrs and over

Am I covered if my windscreen gets cracked or damaged?

I carry gas in my van for my forge, does my policy allow for this?

ERS understands that gas bottles will be carried within the vehicle under the Farrier van scheme (provided the amount of gas carried does not require the client to hold a gas licence)

Am I covered if I lose my vehicle keys?

Loss of Keys and replacement locks for your vehicle are covered under your policy

Will I be restricted on my mileage at all?

No, there is no restriction on mileage under our Farrier van scheme
