KBIS British Equestrian Insurance announce this week that the company has been sold to Specialist Risk Group, whose portfolio includes Lloyd’s broker Miles Smith and The Underwriting Exchange (TUE).
KBIS British Equestrian Insurance have long been one of the UK’s leading independent horse insurance specialists having been purchased by Guy and Liz Prest in 1991. The family has seen the business grow over the years with a current product range covering everything for the equestrian including horses, property, liability and motor vehicles.
The company’s growth and customer loyalty has built on an ethos of providing excellent customer service with a fast, efficient and fair claims process. KBIS will continue to be run by the existing management and highly experienced staff and will remain based at their rural offices in Berkshire.
