As one of the largest equine insurance providers in the UK, we recently switched to a powerful, new insurance software system, ParaCode.
As the UK’s leading independent horse insurance specialists, we needed a system at KBIS that would allow us to manage our processes effectively and efficiently across the business.
Previously at KBIS, we used two different insurance systems, but both were approaching end-of-life. There were therefore issues around updates, fixing bugs and developing new features so the decision was made to find a new solution. The aim was to consolidate processes into one system, streamlining the business and allowing them to bring new insurance products to the market quicker.
KBIS chose the ParaCode platform as they felt it was the most advanced cloud-based insurance policy administration and claims management software available in the market. The platform is a fully flexible, end-to-end platform, hosted in Microsoft Azure and built using the latest versions of Microsoft ASP C# .Net Core and Entity Framework Core.
The new system allows all aspects of customer accounts, policies, and claims to be managed, replacing the two existing systems while also eliminating reliance on supporting spreadsheets. The new system allows more efficiency, reliability, security and scalability.
